To maintain a stable and safe environment I believe gun laws and restrictions should be made. This may create a more suitable community for the people, without feeling threatened by guns. Millions of deaths are caused by guns and by cracking down on them the communities will become safer. I believe the gun laws and restrictions should all around become stricter.

If you think of guns, one of the first things that comes to mind is violence. With more control over who has the guns and what they are used for, the amount of violence will drastically decrease. In short terms, guns equal violence with usually equals death or injury. Control over guns could slowly lead to taking control of the amount of deaths caused by guns and acts of violence. Getting this under control will most certainly play a part in the decrease of deaths caused by gun incidents. Like I said with guns comes violence, this could refer to the novel “Swallowing Stones”. In this novel Michael shoots his grandfather's rifle into the air and the bullet comes down and kills a man. It may not have been intinital to kill the a man from the bullet shot in the air but, this example clearly shows that with guns come violence.

When it comes to situations involving guns these particular groups of being are usually main targets. On average each month about 50 women are shot and killed. This issue must be taken control of for women, to protect them from stalkers, violent spouses, domestic abusers, etc. In the U.S. around 18 children and teens are killed by firearms on average in one day. It is important to keep guns away from children because they could easily cause an incident that could possibly lead to death.
