Argumentative Essay: Is Heaven For Real?

Is Heaven For Real? People say they have died and came back hours later. Are their stories about being in heavenly places true? Society says this did happen and it is indeed a miracle. Although, they are still questioning God’s and Heaven 's existence. Many people are saying that they have seen heaven and came back. When somebody brings up this topic, many people think about Colton Burpo’s experience in the book “Heaven is for Real.” In his story he explains the happiness he feels(McArthur 1). A man named Dr. Eben Alexander had a similar experience. “While my body was in a coma-my spirit was alive and well,” he says (Alexander 3). Both these stories are missing something -the focus on God. Christians say that God is the creator of the universe. Although, society says that evolution was the cause of the universe, but evolution has many unexplained faults. Atheists say that we were created by a series of mutations, but what came first the mouth or the stomach (Adamson 3)? If if the mouth came first then how did we digest food and survive? If we could not digest food to survive then how are we still here? The simple answer is this-evolution doesn 't exist (Adamson 3). Although, the question of where we came from still remains. The only logical answer is the existence of a creator. If a creator exists then that means the biblical story of the creation in genesis is true. In genesis 1:1 it says “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” This verse clearly says that God created heaven and earth. If He created both, then heaven is as real as earth.
