3- That is true, but the government could not control what public works the states built, so they could be wasting all of their money without the government
If the government does not respond to support the state and people it would hurt the country as a hold.
the government’s job is to protect people’s lives and make sure that the citizens life is not in dangerous. When the government make a certain law they saw that it is more beneficial for the citizens, “the foundation of social order are profoundly shaken when ordinary law-abiding citizens take to skirting the law ”(Trippett). the law should be respected by the citizens, it is important because people deserve to live in a safe
Because of this it was decided that the national government must be strengthened in order to develop uniform economic policies and protect property owners from infringements on their rights by local majorities
This is referred to as “Consent of the Government” and plays a big role in determining what the government does. In reality, the people run the country and it would be smart for the government to take full recognition of this. The consent of the government states that the authority of a government should depend on the consent of the people (Document C). When the government chooses not to take this into account, there can sometimes be negative consequences. An example of this would be in 1989 in Tiananmen Square in China.
It is human nature to seek competition and thrive on inequality. The government does not want what is best for its citizens, it simply wants what is best for itself whether it’s cruel or
A land of opportunity and freedom of choices is what attracted foreigners and immigrants to this country, and still does to this day. In order to maintain a peaceful and prospering society, A "-government of the people, by the people, for the people..." (Gettysburg Address, Lincoln 586) is what a successful country need. Many government powers around the world hold their citizens responsible for many things, such as paying taxes to help support the economy, serving the military for defensive purposes , or at least cooperating with the law. As a natural instinct, most people expect something in return, and the law itself assigns duties for the government to its
If the government is granted to much power it can infringe on people's rights and keep peoples from their basic rights, these are life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. By limiting the power of the government you keep power in the peoples and states hands. When the United States was created it wanted separation for Britain because they had to much power and control over the colonies so far away. The Declaration of Independence was written and signed then sent to the king of Britain. The colonies wanted Independence from Britain because they did not want a monarchy rule.
For example, our government works every day to keep us safe from harm. Whether it’s the police, FBI, or military, we know that justice will be established for all accounts of terror, legal wrongdoing, or even house burglary. we know we can count on our country’s lawmaking and law enforcing to keep us out of substantial harm. Also, our government, whether it is city, state, or federal, provides us with the public necessities for becoming a thriving community and nation. With certain help like community recreational facilities, schools, airports, and parks, to even the little stuff like fire hydrants, light posts, and roads, our government funds these to better us as a whole.
The cost of having a strong central government could lead to corruption if something goes wrong. Also, their view of government is flawed due to them not wanting to add the Bill of Rights to make sure that individual rights would be protected. In fact, they were hesitant about adding them due to fearing misinterpretation and restricting a right if it doesn’t appear on the Bill of Rights. Another quote in favor of the Anti-Federalists, “As long as we can preserve our unalienable rights, we are in safety”, is reasonable as individual rights are most important when it comes to controlling a
“If we learn nothing from this tragedy, we learn that life is short and there is no time for hate.” This quote comes from Sandy Dahl , the wife of the pilot on flight 93. When thinking about 9/11 this quote comes to mind because on that particular day, the world was reminded how short life really is. This quote also intertwines with 9/11 because it teaches us how there is no time to hate, but to move forward and help each other hand in hand. Even though I was only a year old when September 11th happened, I want to understand this horrific event that went down in history of the United States.
“Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America. These acts shatter steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve.” George W. Bush delivered this speech on the night of the September 11 attacks. The shattered steel of the Twin Towers, once towering the New York City skyline, forever changed America and its response to terrorism. The largest foreign attack on U.S. soil appropriately gave reason to Americans to recoil in fear and lose trust in the future, but in reality, the country displayed the opposite reaction.
I do not believe that ISIS is a country. I believe that ISIS (Islamic state of Iraq and Syria) should be labeled as a terrorist group. They have all the different qualities of terrorists. For example, have a lot anger, they believe that engaging in violence against the state is not immoral, and they feel the need to take violent action rather than just talking about the problem. ISIS is just a group of ordinary people that took the path to violence.
Al-Anon is a world-wide fellowship 12 steps program and the counterpart to Alcoholics Anonymous that was found in 1951; Al-Anon states that they are not affiliated nor: “Al-Anon is allied with any sect, denomination, political party organization, or institution; does not engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any cause. There are no dues for membership. Al-Anon is self-supporting through its own voluntary contributions. (Welcome to Al-Anon, n.d.).” The 12 step program serves as a self-help support group based on a spiritual foundation.
But, imagine your government falling apart. You then realize that the people and country are affected. Some people do not know that having a good government is mainly for a person living in that country. Good governed countries keep people from doing criminal acts in their towns.
