Throughout history, many international migrants have journeyed to the United States to establish a new life with their family to ultimately achieve the American Dream. Along with them, they brought their cultural practices and religious beliefs which uniquely made them different. However, no one would expect the United States’ population to increase by millions during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries due to immigrants. As supported on page 361, “In the last half of the 19th century, the U.S. population more than tripled, from about 23.2 million in 1850 to 76.2 million in 1900.” (“United States History”).

Kids that started before the age of twelve have been proven to have a damaged brain as they get older. Kids of such young age should be able to play football but maybe flag football is better to start with. For parents to keep their children safe they should not let their kids play tackle football until they are twelve.
Contact sports are the reason kids are getting hurt. Contact sports are good for kids. The Federal and state government should stop kids under 10 to stop playing contact sports because 45% of kids under 10 getting hurt are from contact sports and 5% of the time its ending that kids chances to play sports in the feature, Not to mention contact sports can also make kids go to their fullest and being burned out and although contact provide some kids will useful tools in life most of the time there is more negative than positive.

Out of high school, many students receive scholarships to follow their passion of playing sports; these college athletes take on the responsibility of being a leader to their universities and their team. Student athletes should view playing sports as an addition to completing their studies, not a replacement. Many believe student athletes should solely focus on bettering their “game” in order to make it to the professional sports league. While this is important, student athletes should also be expected to go above and beyond with their actions in and out of the classroom. College athletes should be held accountable for their education as well as their behavior, by both them-selves and their coaches.

Most sports are team sports that also teach your child teamwork. Playing youth sports is a terrific experience for you or your child. Kids have come to practice Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday, and Friday to get better, while their academics are suffering. Students have pushed their bodies to the limits, causing extreme injury that will hold them back from sports in the future. Student athletes are not getting the opportunity to play multiple sports during the year, because they are expected to spelize in one sport and focus on it year round, leaving no opportunity to play other sports or do other activities. Youth sports are becoming too intense for young children to keep up with.

High school sports are a great way for student-athletes to stay healthy, make new friends, and be a part of a team atmosphere. School sports are a tremendous way for student-athletes to create new, meaningful relationships.

I believe that kids should be allowed to play competitive sports due to the health benefits, the lessons that they can teach, and as a result of the advanced equipment and rules that are focused on making sports safe, as well as the fact that sports can keep kids out of trouble. One extremely important reason that forces me to take the position that kids should be allowed to compete in competitive sports is the health benefits that children who play sports recieve.

Most people against say that sports make kids get severely injured, which is true, but only if the kid is unprotected and not in a safe environment, which is not the case with sports these days.
