In sunny California there is a town called Yutter. The dearth of water has caused the soil to be very dry and infertile and so the farmers cannot grow crops, impacting the economy in Yutter, changing it for the worst. The town of Yutter has a deal with the farmers and the water supply company for the town so that they can have more water than other citizens per square acre of land, in order to keep the new seeds alive before they shrivel up and the plants die. Paul Jump, Yutter’s main farmer, much to his chagrin, asked the mayor at the town meeting for water, saying “I can grow food for my pigs with the money I made off of my crops if I have two thousand more gallons a week!” The mayor ignores his request and the audience of the meeting starts to become obstreperous as they walk up to Paul Jump with screams of invective.

The war in Iraq 20 March 2003 was the day everything changed, this was the day Americans stepped foot onto that foreign desert land that we now know of as Iraq. Many people have their own opinion about if the United States made the right decision deciding to go to war with this country. There are both positive and negative attributes that have come from us going to war. As stated before Americans are either for this decision or against. Personally, I am against us going to war due to: the lies and perception of Iraq 's weaponry, the amount of money that has been spent on the war, the amount of lives taken, and foremost the illegal actions that were taken to start the war with Iraq.

Those who against the rise of the minimum wage say it would have a negative effect on business, small business especially. Business should not mandated to provide to provide a minimum wage based on the governments’ say. In fact I believe the minimum wage should not be raised at all.
Gasoline and diesel are fossil fuels and aren 't infinite. Battery electricity are better, they don’t pollute and don 't burn fossil fuels. Instead of having a gas tank and having to fill it up at a gas station, these cars have batteries in their place and can be recharged with a larger charging station and needs 220 volts. The recharged batteries stay charged until the car is driven. Some people say that battery powered cars are slower, but it isn’t by much and battery powered cars think is worth slowing down a little if it means saving the planet.

1. Introduction In the modest term, a minimum wage is a lawfully authorized minor bound for wages, but the term “lawfully authorised” is unclear, leading too many different kinds of minimum wages institutions (Cunningham et al, 2007:19).
