Loggerhead Turtle Argumentative Essay Andrew J. Thorpe English 6 Mrs. Tubergan Due 1-29-16 Did you know that one-thousand out of every ten-thousand Loggerhead Turtles will survive to adulthood. Many loggerhead turtles are being killed each year. There are many human caused threats and animal caused threats. Fishermen’s nets get broken because the turtles get caught in them and they don’t get saved unless somebody happens to stumble upon it. In this paper I will be talking to you about how we can save turtles from these big threats to Loggerhead turtles and about what these threats are doing to the Loggerhead Sea Turtles. They say that the population of Loggerheads is going to far up but just wait. In a few years Loggerhead Turtles can become extinct if we don’t act fast. They are almost endangered but not yet. Many people are killing turtles for money. That is not cool because this may kill the population and do you want to be known as the man who killed the rest of the Loggerhead's. Many people are killing turtles or disturbing them. It is wrong to disturb Loggerhead turtles in their nesting. My reason for that is they may get scared and leave their babies alone. It is also very wrong to kill Loggerhead Turtles. Loggerhead turtles are being killed by people and I have a way to stop that. The government should make it illegal to kill Loggerhead Sea Turtles. If we can get enough people to vote for it after we ask the government then we can make it illegal to kill Loggerhead Sea Turtles. People shouldn’t kill or disturb Loggerhead Turtles. We should save all the Loggerhead Turtles in the world and then we can have them as pets. One main reason for Loggerhead Turtle death is because of fishermen nets. We can save them by going Scuba diving. We can also save Loggerhead Turtles from reckless drivers by Scuba diving because of the debris. My final way that we can save Loggerhead Turtles is by making them endangered. That is my ways of how to save Loggerhead
