Has music censorship ever affected some part of your life. It has affected many people's lives everywhere. Most people believe that music censorship was started during the 1800’s to silence certain peoples believes that were in the form of music. But now it has flourished into something new that many people love and hate. Music censorship isn’t right or wrong. it all just depends on how you feel about the topic.The true definition of censorship is, suppressing unacceptable parts of music, books, or videos. The FCC are the main group in charge of making sure that radio stations are censoring their music when they play it. The FCC has rules that radio stations must follow in order to be able to broadcast their songs, and so they don't get fined. The FCC’s rules and regulations state, inappropriate words in songs must be bleeped out in the radio, they must follow the federal communications commision given in 1934, and if children are in your specified audience, you must censor your “statements” …show more content…
