The underlying reasons for the belief, impression or thought that the US gov-ernment must continue to fund national parks is often overlooked, misunder-stood or unheeded. In his essay, “Government Must Preserve National Parks.” Author Todd Da-vidson builds a cogent, detailed and absorbing argument by employing a varie-ty of rhetorical techniques and persuasive strategies, most notably, an array of pertinent facts and statistics, appeal to emotions, and a logical argument to persuade his audience that the US government must continue to fund national parks.
With cap cuts coming, are the Steelers scouting a new middle linebacker at the combine? As I wrote in one of our past prospect watches, the Steelers could draft a middle linebacker in the mid-round of this year’s draft. Lawrence Timmons is owed over $15 million and his production has slipped over the past few seasons. One of the most decorated middle linebackers in this draft is Scooby Wright out of Arizona.
I hope the federal government makes the right decision on making this a National Park. Come on, it would be amazingly exciting, and it would bring more money to our country if you thought about it. I thought the government was all about the people? If so, think about the people this time and make this
Arizona is a senior in high school, in the cold tundra of Montana. Her name is Arizona because the winter she was born, was the coldest winter on record for Montana, and her parents must have wished for warmer weather. Arizona’s life is not, nor has been, glorious. She started working on her family’s cattle ranch when she was five. Her family doesn’t use ATV’s or Rangers to check fence and cows, no, they use horses.
America now has 84 million acres of National Parks. The national parks follow the democratic idea that the natural wonders of the land should be available to all and not just the rich or privileged The story of the national parks is one of sacrifice by those willing to devote their lives to the preservation of these natural wonders in America YOSEMITE Yosemite was discovered in 1851 by Lafayette Bunnell. He mistakenly named it Yosemite thinking it was the name of the local Indians but the word really meant, "They are killers.
Do you remember that day that you and your family took a trip to that one park? That one that you got to see many different types of sea animals, dolphins putting on shows, and getting to even interact with the sea animals in a great learning experience. That park is SeaWorld. When you were there, you might have not noticed the stuff that was happening behind the scenes. Lately, the animals have been very sad and not living healthy lives.
In life some feel the need to prove something to others. That they are better, stronger, or even more intelligent. Whatever the case may be people will go through extreme measures to prove themselves. But who do we really need to prove anything to? Is it our parents?
Children are pushed into adulthood by their parents to grow up and become adults at an early age. In today's society, parents perceive their children as adults and force the idea that there is no other way of living besides having a job to support yourself even if the job isn't your passion. In Fences, Cory has a chance to get into college by getting recruited by a football coach and potentially have a better future than Troy, because he would achieve a college degree. However, Troy, Cory's father takes that all away from him because Tory wants Cory to have a real job that can support him instead of having a “chance” of supporting himself. With not being given the same chance as his son, Tory continues to put his own past experiences before

A person’s immediate happiness is their own and comes from their own personal beliefs. However, long term happiness comes from being able to share and talk about what makes you happy. Happiness is fully experienced when shared with community through pictures and journals. To be happy you do not need other people.
The Alaskan Bush is one of the hardest places to survive without any assistance, supplies, skills, and little food. Jon Krakauer explains in his biography, Into The Wild, how Christopher McCandless ventured into the Alaskan Bush and ultimately perished due to lack of preparation and hubris. McCandless was an intelligent young man who made a few mistakes but overall Krakauer believed that McCandless was not an ignorant adrenalin junkie who had no respect for the land. Krakauer chose to write this biography because he too had the strong desire to discover and explore as he also ventured into the Alaskan Bush when he was a young man, but he survived unlike McCandless. Krakauer’s argument was convincing because he gives credible evidence that McCandless was not foolish like many critics say he was.
Good afternoon fellow classmates, today I´m able to present my claim on major exploration. Carl Sagan once said ¨The universe is a pretty big place, if itś just us, seems like a waste of space.¨ and also Christopher Reeve one stated ¨Either you decide to stay in the shadow end of the pool, or you can go out in the ocean.¨ Major (Both Space and Ocean) exploration is worth the risk considering it helps us find new discoveries that could shape the world into a better place, comparing as the invention fire did a long time ago as well, and It could help us find new ways of expanding our health, so we can live longer . For example, in John F. Kennedy speech, it states ¨Examinations of the astronaut's physical, and mental, and emotional reactions
While NASA’s New Horizons flies by Pluto and targets new destinations farther than humans will physically experience in the near future, considering our distance from the Sun could help explain why the Earth can sustain life. What if Earth moved a mile closer to the Sun? Would we all burn up? Would our atmosphere disintegrate? Would we have an extreme runaway greenhouse effect and dry up like Venus?
Why we should keep zoos Have you ever went to the zoo and seen the zookeeper taking care of the animals? Zoos should be kept so that the lives of the animals don’t get harmed. The Zoo Debate is about how everyone feels about zoos. People debate to find out whether or not we should keep zoos or have them destroyed. The endangered animals can breed and make more of that species.
The United States of America, being a country founded by immigrants, is known all over the world as the land of great opportunities. People from all walks of life travelled across the globe, taking a chance to find a better life for them and their family. Over the years, the population of immigrants has grown immensely, resulting in the currently controversial issue of illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants are the people who have overstayed the time granted on their US, visa or those who have broken the federal law by crossing the border illegally. Matt O’Brien stated in his article “The government thinks that 10.8 million illegal immigrants lived in the country in January 2009, down from a peak of nearly 12 million in 2007.”(Para, 2) While some argue that illegal immigrants burden the United States of America and its economy, others believe that they have become essential and are an important part of the US, economy.
