Why are electric cars taking over? Gas and diesel powered vehicles have dated back almost 100 years, but I think it's time for a change and an improvement. First electric powered vehicles don't need additives unlike new model diesels, electric vehicles get better mileage than gas and diesel powered vehicles, electric cars are a lot cheaper to keep running then gas and diesel powered vehicles.I believe that electric cars are better and more beneficial because electric powered vehicles don't need additives, electric vehicles get better mileage, and electric cars are a lot cheaper to keep running than other vehicles.

One is that they get better gas mileage than gas and diesel vehicles. Electric cars go about 500 miles per charge (depends on vehicle) and gas and diesel get about 250-300 (depends on vehicle). That means electric powered vehicles get about two times as much gas and diesel vehicles. “At present, Lucid Air Dream (Range Edition) takes the crown. Based on moderate driving style and climate conditions, the real-life range is estimated to be 685 km (425 miles).” (Staff).
Another reason why electric vehicles are taking over. Electric powered vehicles are pretty cheap to fuel and keep running. “EVs typically have lower annual fuel costs than similar gasoline vehicles and provide both a similar driving experience to and the same functionality as a gasoline vehicle.” (Staff) It costs about $56 per month to charge at home.
In conclusion, this is why electric cars are going to take over. There are no additives in electric vehicles unlike new model decals, electric vehicles get better mileage than gas powered vehicles and diesel powered vehicles.
