Should College be free? Many people want to go to college because they want a better education, but they can’t afford it because it is so expensive. This can help increase student debt and everyone deserves an opportunity to go to college. Overall, students need to go to college for a better education and increase their debt.
One reason why college should be free is because college could increase student dept. Many students can not afford to pay their debt. Students have to loan money to attend college for a better education. While they are in debt it is hard for them to pay. The author states, “Student loan debt in the United States is almost $1.75 trillion. 45 million Americans have student loan debt, and 7.5 million of those borrowers are in default.
