High school, middle school, and even elementary school are free; why should we have to pay for extra school? Some people think that college should be free and some argue that it should stay as is . College should be free because we don't pay for middle school or highschool. Why pay for college? It would lower the percentage of student debt, and it will improve college graduation rates. Some people argue that we should pay for college because the school needs money to pay for the school, college graduates tend to make more money, and free college could be the fastest way to destroy precisely what makes higher education in this country exceptional. According to,”(19 should college be free pros and cons),”it claims that colleges would not make money if they were free; however this is not true because, don't these schools make money off of the grades that students receive and get funded by the government? I think, without making them pay they can still make money by getting funded by the government and paying for stuff the school
