A Lobotomy is a surgical procedure for “mentally ill” patients in which they are given electroshock therapy to put them in a coma. Then a ice-pick like tool is inserted behind the eye to sever the prefrontal lobe from the brain. Howard, along with all the other patients, should’ve never experienced this, it should've never been legal to perform anywhere. Why would you disconnect any part of a person's brain? We have all the parts of our brain for a reason. The procedure was very dangerous, a lot of patients ended up dieing soon after the surgery, and some died in the middle of the procedure.
