How often do you see a electric car on the streets? People say that electric cars are taking the world by storm, and that electric cars are the new generation for the United States. But I think that that’s false, that gas cars have been the better end of the world. A way to get around quicker, a safe way to get from place to place. I feel like we should continue to focus more on gasoline cars, given the fact that they’re easier to sell, more dependable, and that the fuel that we use need to used up.
Gasoline-powered cars have been on the market since 1886 and have been developing ever since. These cars have been some of the most advanced technology we have, starting with front, back, and all wheel drive which most electric cars are only back wheel drives which is only for clear roads. Gas cars are now coming out with wifi inside their cars and brand new gear. As it states in the article Why Electric Cars Are Our Future, “first-generation electric vehicles such as the Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf have failed to gain significant market share in their first years of availability.” Which goes to show that the downfall of being a electric car dealership owner will deplete the profit you make until you finally sell one vehicle. Since they’ve been around longer than electric cars, engineers know how to build them better than electric cars. Also the education that’s required to build an electric car is more complex than gas cars.
