Zoning ordinance are defined as written rules and laws that explain how property in a specific geographic zones can be used. The zoning ordinance can indicate whether the zones can be used for residential or commercial purposes as well as lot size, placement, bulk and the height of structures. Zoning ordinances and laws can very well affect issues such as customers parking, access for deliveries, and the number and type of employees permitted, along with the use of signs or other forms of advertising.
