Communism was big during the Cold War era, and what happened to be more huge was that your favorite actor is also a communist and he are portraying a communist view. Also, the movie that you just watched was virtually sending a message to you about converting onto communism. Communism was disease during the 20th century. Everyone wanted to avoid it as much as they could, and there were plenty of articles written on the catch up on the communists and what they’ve done so far. In the New York Times, “10 Film Men Face Contempt Trails” on November 25, 1947, written by a reporter from the new york times (reporter not mentioned), this article articulates the ten film men that will face a trial. The cases were introduced each one at a time by Mr. Thomas. These ten men were all accused of being part of the communist party. This article overall states how each man from the ten men was trailed and how people were reacting to the whole concept. “Committee Plans To Push Reds In Hollywood Quiz” written by William F. Arbogast in the Modesto Bee, pushes against more cities than evidence. He puts together an article that pushes the reader into reading the information and provides an argument for the House of unAmerican Committee. And he also supports the argument of how the committee puts together the films. The third source informs the reader of the “panic in Hollywood” and how it really brings out the fear in the citizens of the united streams because their favorite film writers have gone for a trial for being a communist.
