Arguments Against Teen Curfew

I as a teenager most certainly agree to a curfew of ten on weekdays and twelve on weekends. Nothing good ever happens on the streets in the dark. Most activity on the street after nine is not good. I know I wouldn 't want my kid out in the dark on the street alone walking. Don 't be that parent that lets their child get away with whatever they want. They will be nothing but trouble, having a curfew will give them privileges and responsibility. If your teen has his or her license they are not supposed to be out after twelve anyways which is also really excessive. If you can drive during the week and you don 't have work, yes I agree you should be home at ten, but if you have work yes you can be out later until your shifts over then straight home. If you have a job, a car and a license then yes by all means work your hours, don 't pay attention to a curfew. There should be exceptions to a curfew like emergency or job. If your running a little late so be it. I wouldn 't listen to a curfew till I had my own kids and knew what was going on. Teenagers don 't understand that we are just trying to help and give them what 's best for them. I totally agree with a curfew, do you agree? There is so many positives or having a curfew to the negatives, positive just over rules. It keeps kids out of trouble and tries to help show them what the real world is. If created the curfew hours i would actually make them earlier by one hour. Nothing good ever happens after nine trust me I know. The council making the curfew should also make to where after you get so many violations you have to be in even sooner.
