As we all may know the Disney franchise is well known around the world but what you may not know is that they only recognize only eleven princesses as official princesses. Two well known princesses are Ariel from The Little Mermaid and Rapunzel from Tangled. Determining who is better is where you come in hand. Ariel and Rapunzel have little things in their lives to help determine who they are like what they look like, who their friends are, and where they are from. We all have characteristics that separate us from each other but Ariel and Rapunzel have some major characteristics that standout from everyone. The first characteristic is what they look like in their movies. In the beginning of her movie we see Ariel as a mermaid with puffy red hair and blue eyes. As we move through the movie we see her transform into a human so she could fall in love with this guy she sees during a storm. Transforming to human the first time was a spell from the villain Ursula, the second time was from her dad at the end so she could live on land with her husband. Being born the youngest of seven daughters of King Triton, Ariel was raised in the Atlantic Ocean in the kingdom of Atlantica. Since she was the youngest she was the one to be watched over closely. Ariel's dream was to be a human and live on Earth. To do this she had to become a human and there was only two ways to do this. One was by signing a deal with Ursula and the other was by her dad giving her the wish to become a human. Falling in love with Prince Eric; she signs a deal with Ursula for her voice and this ends up going down hill. Staying a mermaid she gets her dad to change her back to human so she can stop Ursula from becoming human permanently. Finally Eric finds out Ariel is the actual girl who saved him and the live happily ever after on
