Therefore, Aristotle must have concluded that slavery was a natural occurrence. It is important to note that Aristotle mentioned that slaves would be freed upon their master’s death; however, this portion is not to excuse Aristotle nor the supporters of slavery. I just thought we need to understand what was going on behind Aristotle’s reasoning while accounting for the situation in the ancient period.
Slavery was not widely frowned upon on during the Axial Age. In fact, slavery was a significant tool used by the Roman Empire in order to flourish economically and politically.
