After visiting the North Carolina Museum of Art, I carefully analyzed a variety of Art pieces that interest me and related to one another in some way. Between the pieces that I chose, these images carefully influenced me with the look, message, mood, and meaning of the art work. Not for nothing, these art pieces influence me in many ways, but the most important part is that these artworks all illustrate art and illusion. They all portray a symbolic meaning in their display and visual impact. All the pieces included in my analysis greatly demonstrates Trompe I’oeil, Two dimensional, Three dimensional, and Fresco to give the viewer clear examples of illusionism. Sebastian 1999 piece. It was created by Michael Richards, Jamaican American born in the United States 1963. This artwork was a three-dimensional architecture employed with visual construction that fooled the eye. You could see the naturalism in this artwork that shows strong supernatural explanations as the airplanes crash into the body of the African American Pilots of World War II. The materials in this piece of artwork conveys a message of thank you to the patriotic brave African American’s who lost their lives fighting in World War II. The precise realistic paint carefully demonstrates a African American painted in gold as a Solider. This piece of artwork influenced me because as a kid, I always wanted to be a pilot. This artwork was created by Roger Brown, American born 1941. Oil on canvas was used to carefully paint the founding founders which are Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, James Madison, and John Marshall. You could see the stars and stripes in the back of the portrait that carefully demonstrates patriotic mournful thank you to the founding fathers.
