Currently, the CEO’s at Autozone has the following social forces that are opportunities that they should capitalize on and follow that are the trends of today. One of which is that electric cars are increasingly being developed in better quality and batteries to fit these vehicles should be an item of interest (Parnell, 2008). Another change that is promising is that the Minivan is making a comeback of sorts over the SUV in that because of lower insurance costs consumers are still interested (Edgerton, 2017). This is a good bit of news because employees are already familiar with minivans, although they will have updated features to learn. Finally, Millennials are a change that is going to confound those at Autozone by becoming an opportunity and a concern.
