Aztecs and Incas vs. Mayans

Although they have their differences, they are similar in a lot of ways. I myself am very familiar with the Aztec civilization but this project taught things about the Mayans, Olmecs, and Incas that I didn't know. I did enjoy learning about the different civilizations. However I did not think it should have been given to a class full of students who speak little to no spanish. The expectations of this projects were a little unrealistic in the sense of presenting. It's hard enough give a presentation to a class and resight all of the information you researched from memory in English, let alone in a completely different language. Granted, I am a native speaker, but even for me, I found it was difficult considering I don't use words like limestone, flint, and plaster in my day to day vocabulary. Being expected to not to read off the board when presenting is realistic, but if were to have been done in English. It would have been a lot more beneficial that way because then the class would actually know what's going on and being said. Think about it this way. For example, would you, Ms James, feel comfortable presenting a project from memory in
