Once at a large forest stood the cottage where the Bear clan rested. Father Bear was very large, Mother Bear was average, and Baby Bear was very small.
One day, the Bears were out to see the beavers when a lady called Goldenwomen came by. She remembered that the house was the one where the Bears rested and resolved to enter and have a look around, even though she was not wanted at the house for she had been mean to the Bear clan.
When she entered the house she saw a three bowls of cereal that she assumed Mother Bear had made. She had forgotten to eat and was very hungry so she resolved to eat a bowl of cereal. The large bed, she presumed, belonged to Father Bear, the average bed belonged to Mother Bear, and the smallest bed, as usual, belonged to Baby Bear. Goldenwomen felt drowsy from all of the travel and resolved to take a nap on one of the beds.
As Goldenwomen was asleep on Baby Bear’s bed, she chose baby Bear’s because she was rather small, a feature she shared her and Baby Bear shared, the Bear Clan had returned home. When they entered the house they observed that some cereal had been eaten and some of the seats were not at the same place that they were left. They processed that someone was probably at the house and began to search through all of the rooms.
As the Bears attempted to probe through the house Goldenwomen woke up due to all of the sound from the Bears as they probed the house. Goldenwomen attempted to conceal herself underneath the bed as she heard the Bear clan mount the steps. Goldenwomen was unsuccessful at her attempt at concealment as Father Bear found her rather fast. Once she was found she started to try to beg the Bears to spare her. Her words fell on deaf ears and as a replacement for the cereal the Bears had Goldenwomen for supper and no one ever bothered them any
