Johnny Cash was a music songwriter, singer, and guitarist. His music covered a variety of country, rock, blues, and gospel. The movie Walk the Line is based off Johnny’s music career. He was born on February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas to Ray and Carrie Cash with the name J.R. Cash because his parents couldn’t decide on a name; he later had to change his name to John R. Cash to enlist in the United States Air Force. He grew up on a twenty-acre farm since the age of three when his father took advantage of the New Deal, and became a sharecropper.
People and her many fans remember the days when she was a member of The Supremes. This dynamic and amazing lady is an American singer, actress and record producer who at 70 is still going strong and performing. Diana Ross was born in Detroit where she began her career with Motown in the 60s. When Ross began her solo career in 1970 she came out with her first album Diana Ross which contained the hits “Reach Out and Touch (Somebody’s Hand)” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”. When she got into acting she showed amazing talent and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award for her performance in “Lady Sings the Blues”.
This label I’m most intrigued with is a subsidiary of Universal Music group known as Motown Records. Founded by Berry Gordy, the label was originally known as Tamla Records, but it changed its’ name after suggestions from the Ford assembly line. Now the title Motown fits the city that it was established in, Detroit, Michigan which is also known as the Motor City. Motown Records and its’ artists were influential in the integration of popular music and added soul and culture that had not been seen before. Significance can be found in the fact Motown Records wasn’t simply trying to achieve commercial success, but trying to tell their story and affect the community.
This author does many things well in his description of this French class these include: use of detailed descriptions, real life examples, and purposeful misspellings of the teacher’s dialogue. All of these literary devices help to enhance the author's work and provide an almost surreal tone to the author’s work. A hero is brave, determined, and confident. Their actions influence the people around to adopt the same noble qualities, to become their own hero.
This is no surprise, as salsa can be found in many other Latin American countries. Salsa music is very popular for dancing. It can be heard at parties, bars, clubs, anywhere people may desire to dance. It features a range of instruments and a fast-paced, upbeat rhythm. Salsa music does integrate Cuban influences; however, it was founded in New York by the Puerto Rican community (“Costa Rican Music,” n.d.).
Here’s the deal: I ended up taking AP Music Theory over Organic Chemistry my senior year of high school. Did people tell me that was wrong to do because I want a career involving chemistry? Yes. Do I regret it? Absolutely not.
This kind of music has an interesting history of its origins, even is considered a culture, also this music has caused controversy and has become very popular in Latin American and has cross over the world. Reggaeton music is from Jamaican Reggae, but it was influenced by other music directions, for example North American Hip-Hop and Puerto Rican rhythms. According to the articles"Panama is the birthplace of this music" it all started for the wave of immigration of Jamaicans who immigrated to Panama, to work in the Panama Canal. They bought their Reggae music and eventually it was translated to Spanish and was called "Spanish Reggae". Reggae was performed first time in Spanish it was in Panama (by Chicho Man), while the first Spanish rap was performed (by Vico C) a singer from Puerto Rico, who is consider one of the founders of reggaeton this all happened in 1985.

All I can remember from my youth is that even though I liked the beat, I could not really understand the words. Though none of that meant anything to me, my mom was pleased that I was somehow connecting my ethnicities heritage. Though as I grew up saw the impact the music had on American culture. Johann Sebastian Bach is one of the most influential composers of all time ("Top 10 Most Famous Classical Composers of All Time.") He lived during the Baroque period of music in the 17th century. Baroque music is a category of European Classical music and is recognized for ornamentation added to long melodic lines, the addition and use of harpsichord and basso continuos.
Latin Jazz, also known as Afro-Cuban jazz originated around 1940. It was due to the gradual and long interactions of American and Cuban music which birthed this distinct style of jazz. African american tunes and dance rhythms traveled north into the United States as well as the musical styles of African-American Jazz found their way down to the Caribbean and Central and Southern America. The fusion of both musical styles; Cuban music and African-American jazz was largely due to musicians and dancers throughout the area beginning to familiarise themselves with both of the musical techniques. The fusion happened in 1940 in the city of New York through the beginning of Machito and the Afro-Cubans orchestra, which was under directorship of Cuban trumpeter Mario Bauzá who essentially created the Latin Jazz through fusing jazz arrangements with Afro- Cuban percussion rhythm.
And all the readers in all these centuries have been interpreting a dramatic idea of love not based on reality but on impulsive feelings as “The ideal Love” . Romeo’s longing for ideal love is the primary driving force behind most of his actions, that reveal themselves as impulsive and stupid. In the tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, mutual love and devotion are the main characteristics of Shakespeare’s ideal love. He also portrays the idea of lovers making sacrifices in order to be together, even if it means forsaking things that are valuable to their existence, including their lives.

The letter K. before the number of the work stands for Ralph Kirkpatrick who produced a chronological edition of the sonatas in 1953.
La Bamba, California is very small town with a population that is just under two hundred people. In this small town, there was an auto repair shop, a bakery, a butcher, a grocery store, and a gas station. Other than the houses where the people lived, this was all that La Bamba consisted of. La Bamba was dependant on the crops of the local farmers to feed everybody. The farmers would haul in large amounts of different crops that would then be used to make the food that the people eat on a daily basis.
