In the story ‘’So I Ain’t No Good Girl” written by Sharon Flake a good realistic scene is set by the author that connects me when the situation is put into all of the characters actions. In my opinion I feel like the story isn’t enough because the author didn’t give enough information to the characters feelings and thoughts on how they felt or what they like to do and what they want to do. As Raheem starts staring at the good girls his girlfriend gets mad and that’s when the conflict starts. The scene is very realistic because in the story it says. “She was walking to the bus stop when she suddenly tripped over her own two feet.”
In the beginning of chapter 5, the author talks about how the things that revolved around him was school and church. Outside school and church there were the endless street games on 122nd street. The block was safe to play on under the watch of housewives. Plus on page 39, Walter and his friend decided to hang Richard Aisles. Fortunately, the pastor came there and stopped the whole thing.
Books express who the author is or who they want to be. They show the imagination and, sometimes, the difficulties of the author’s life. In Bad Boy, by Walter Dean Myers, the author shows the difficulties in his life and how he overcame those obstacles in the shape of a memoire. While I appreciate the truths about the world told in Bad Boy, and the uncensored quality while addressing racial issues, I am not too fond of this book. I definitely do not hate Bad

In the memoir ‘’ Bad Boy’’, Walter Dean Myers gives a lot of insight on what his childhood was like.
In Chapter 9-14 Holden Caulfield leaves Penecy Prep and heads to New York City. Where he will stay for a couple days before winter vacation starts and he will head home. Delaying breaking the news to his family he got kicked out of school for as long as possible. These chapters are where Holden’s loneliness becomes abundantly clear. The reader is subjected to many long rants by Holden about the company he wants, though he attempts to settle several times.
In the novel ‘Boy Overboard’ by Morris Gleitzman, when you get to be in perspective of Jamal, a young boy living in Afghanistan and the issues he faces as he struggles to get to Australia.
