In the United States, citizens are becoming more aware of the increasing use of "drones". Although it seems reasonable that people would not want drones flying above their homes, a lot of people seem to misinterpret the word “drone”. Many do not realize that these “drones” are not the lethal Military grade MQ9-Reaper (Image 1). Citizens should be aware that the drones being discussed are essentially no more than a remote controlled helicopter equipped with a camera. However, those who are aware of the difference, are focused on their privacy. Many are calling for an outright ban on drones due to the fact that their personal privacy could be breached.
