1) If U.S. politicians are successful in curbing the NSA's efforts, will this make American's safer?
There has been much debate surrounding the National Security Agency's efforts to collect data on American citizens in the name of national security. Some argue that this invasion of privacy is necessary to prevent terrorist attacks while others believe it is an overreach of government power. Despite the controversy, there have been successes in curbing the NSA's efforts which have contributed to making Americans safer.
