Nurses are trained to take care of the sick or infirm and give medical attention to patients especially in a hospital. Becoming a Nurse interest me because I love helping people and caring for your patient. My most important reasoning was to take care of my loves. Like when my father had a massive heart attack and I watched how the nurses took care of him. That motivated me to want to pursue a this career. A Nurse is a student who has graduated from a 4 year nursing program. That also completed the requirements and has passed the state exam to become a licensed practitioner. Administer patients’ medicines and treatments and knowing what treatment is needed for their pain. Nurses set up plans for patients’ care or contribute to existing plans to knowing their treatment plans. Nurses work a 12 hour shift observing patients and record observations. They go from room to room checking up on the patient 's. They consult with doctors and other healthcare professionals on what is going on with their patients. Nurses learn to operate and monitor medical equipment so that they know the nurses know the patient 's vitals and checking their medicines. Nurses also help perform diagnostic tests and analyze results on the patient 's. When the patient is well and feeling better we teach patients and their families how to manage illnesses or injuries after they have been treated. Some patients might not make through so on some day it won 't be good days. A patients that might get close as a friendship start to build might just pass away on your shift. I don’t think i’ll be able to handle that pressure or pain. Being a nurse is also dealing with the patients’ families and rude people as well. Just trying to give them instructions and the just totally disregard them. Ill be exposed to all types of germs and viruses. I 'll also have to deal with body fluids and blood on a daily. The pay looks nice but I’ll would love to do something I’ll enjoy. As far as the 12 hour shifts I don 't think I am able to do that. There are many more careers and majors that I can look into. It’s just too much to handle. The education i 'll have to do seems fun and it can probably prepare me for this career but at the same time it 's scary. What if something goes wrong. I got someone 's life in my hands that can cause me my life. I have to brave to be able to do this career. I choose to just pick
