With every new president comes new appointees and with new appointees comes change. These new changes can radically affect how education will be affected. As of now, many DACA students worry for their future, Betsy DeVos plans to change public education and the future decision on transgender bathroom use can make an impact on education. DACA is a 2-year temporary resident status for immigrants, who as children were brought to the US illegally by their parents. Recently a big question has been brought to attention as to what will happen to students under DACA.
Many kids that attend sports will miss classes so they can play sports. Kids could miss important work and classes to play sports. They could miss important tests. However kids will not get enough sleep if school starts early in the day.

According to current college students attending different universities in the state of Texas, the problems Texas has recently been facing ranges from: high rates of accidents caused by highway constructions; influx of illegal immigrants crossing over especially here in Brownsville; to the smuggling of drugs into the country since the Gulf of Mexico is so close. However, surprisingly each of these students living in different cities within the state have expressed that the most worrisome current issue Texas has been struggling with is funding the educational system.
School could get out earlier if there wasn 't an extra period saved for lunch. Schools could even get an extra period to put in the day for an extra class or just more time to add onto the classes that are already going on in school. Kids would also be healthier if they did not eat the lunch from school because you never know how much fat, grease, and unhealthy ingredients are in school lunches. Even though school lunches make a lot of students not feel good, it could be a good idea to have lunch so they get energy and are not hungry throughout the day.
Besides, the teachers will earn more salary than the regular years of high school plus will get more vacation pay so at the end students and teachers will be happy. Therefore, this is why school year-round is useful and beneficial for students and teachers. It is an excellent way for students to maintain and follow the right paths in
(Weller 3). This is a problem because it takes away quality family time from students, which is essential for their well-being. Thirdly, a second benefit is that the year-round schooling system helps solve the problem of overcrowding. (Zubrzycki 1). Since all students wouldn 't be in school all at the same time, it eliminates the overcrowding problem.
For high schools specifically, attendance is a serious issue. Students would be less reluctant to go to school if either a Friday or Monday was omitted from the school week. Because of this, students might have an improved attitude at school, which could lead to less violence. Going to school one less day per week would also conserve energy and save money for the school. For students whose parent or guardian drives them to and from school, driving to and from school one less time during the week would save them gas.
