Benjamin Franklin - an innovative man, writer, and adviser. Mr. Franklin is a man of many trades, but simultaneously within that time period he still left time to educate his readers. His audience, not only gets to hear about a life story, but they learn about how Benjamin Franklin uses analogies to convey a message. His writing serves as a guide to the writers of the modern age. The purpose of the analogy is to make fun of himself and in turn advise others in the opposite direction. This whistle that he happens to speak upon could be anything. Imagine ordinarily a burger, a watch, or even a concert ticket. Benjamin Franklin compared the whistle to the actions of men. This specific example of analogy helps the reader to understand the concept of the following circumstances to follow.
