In an attempt to form a committee of the brightest minds to help lead our great nations and therefor the world, I submit to you the best men and women, I believe, to do the job. There are four fields I believe to be the most prominent and most crucial in the world today: Social, Educational, Military, Financial. For each of these categories will be listed two or three representatives to help guide the world to better success. Social reform is something desperately needed in today’s society the world over. Problems still plague the world over from racism to sexism and highly specialized people are needed to handle them. As a young man he had very little formal education due to his poor father. It is precisely this trait that makes him an ideal person to guide the field of education. Benjamin Franklin took it upon himself to educate himself, to learn about all fields, even though he was not formally educated in his young life he grew to be what we call a polymath. There can be no better education than one gained through trial and error experimentation. This passion for knowledge is just what is needed to formulate a better curriculum for the nations of the world. He is known for his stubborn and fiery attitude, never afraid to fight when needed. His character was tested in 1812 when he led an army of two thousand men towards New Orleans only to have them all dismissed without pay or provisions. Jackson was said to have “held the command together for the return home. His willingness to share his men's privations on this march earned him the nickname ‘Old Hickory.’”. This willingness to stick it out with his men shows that underneath this hardened war veteran is a value for human life. His military victories in New Orleans and along the Florida territory show a valuable military genius to decisively end any conflict. This makes him ideal to help write rules of engagement that takes into consideration the condition of the men fighting the war and to train their leaders to the best strategic decision to quickly claim victory on any battlefield minimizing the loss to his own
