Each founding father has their own story about what they accomplished in their lives along with their personal lives that some may not know about. Benjamin Franklin had both, where people did not know his personal life along with him having many accomplishments. Benjamin Franklin has many talents, well jobs, like being an inventor, scientist, writer, and much more. Franklin had many hardships along with his great successes. Some of his “hardships” contained childhood, family, and work. Benjamin Franklin’s childhood had a lot of hardships. He even ran away, which kind of started up his career in writing. Once he was walking down the street, he was awkwardly eating bread in front of his future wife, Deborah. Deborah was John Read’s, the landlord, daughter (Benjamin). After living in Philadelphia for about three years, 1723-1726, Franklin married Deborah. Franklin then fathered a few children, two sons and a daughter. Due to small pox one of the sons named Francis died. Franklin moved a few times which forced, Deborah and Franklin to keep in touch since Deborah never wanted to move out of Philadelphia (Benjamin). Deborah passed away at the age of 66 on the year 1774 due to a stroke (Benjamin). He, as said before, was a writer. Not only did he create Mrs. Silence Dogood but he also wrote as Richard Saunders the writer of Poor Richard’s Almanack. Franklin published many books for 25 years (Benjamin). Franklin also was an inventor/scientist. Franklin was able to discover electricity and learned how to conserve electricity from a lightning bolt. He published books and pamphlets about his discoveries. Benjamin Franklin also wrote and helped many famous documents. Some documents he helped with was the Stamp Act and the Declaration of Independence. Benjamin himself wrote an entire speech to the president about the constitution and what he thinks about it. He goes on to tell that nothing is perfect and the constitution is perfect but that he will still give his consent to the constitution.
