It happens every day, often without us even noticing, but it harms those involved by affecting their values such as diversity, multiculturalism, and mental health. Bullying is not just physical, but an attack against individuality and differences. It causes targeted attacks on both the appearance and culture of students, especially those of diverse backgrounds or the beliefs they hold instead of being cherished. However, this goes further beyond the school gate through cyberbullying. I have witnessed bullying's effects firsthand, stood up for those being bullied, and made efforts to help them on their way back to recovery from the mental and physical harm they faced. However, it shatters the safe, accepted, and valued atmosphere that is to be an essential quality of a school, so this is the reason I feel there should be more of a serious attitude towards bullying since it hampers the students' building up of a strong and positive mindset.
