There were minor biases and prejudices in the articles I read about the Battle of Gettysburg. I figured with authors having two different sides to associate themselves with it would transfer over into their writings. To explain, Maryland held the location of the Baltimore Sun and with Maryland bordering the north and the south, it allowed Southern Maryland to adapt southern views and Northern Maryland to do the same with northern views. Having both views present in the area laid the groundwork for there to be biases and prejudices in the newspaper articles.
