Bikers are often perceived to be of a bad element, rebellious, with their tattoos, leathers, chains, and head wraps, some can find this somewhat unappealing. This perception may have been true many decades ago, but it is no longer a valid description of the modern day biker. The rebellious part is replaced with freedom of the open road, the criminal activities are now reduced to just hanging out at a local meet, and the lifestyle is one of a cultural phenomenon. This is not to say that the biker community has changed completely, bikers still adhere to the code of support and loyalty to fellow brothers and sisters.
