During Clinton’s presidency, there were both weakness and strengths to his two presidential terms. Actions that were taken also had a negative impact towards his reputation. Due to the fact that the majority of Congress was overrun with Republicans, Clinton’s chances of getting anything done were slim. The schemes that involved making President Clinton were however, incomplete. Where the Speaker of the House, Gingrich, had tried to force Clinton to reduce the budget on medicare and education, but did not work. This is where Clinton realized that he had to make boundaries and limits in the political realm. Compromising with Gingrich on budgeting the nation was not easy, but not impossible.
