Hien Nguyen History 107 Professor Solheim CRN 20231 Bill of Rights When the Constitution was made, Federalist and Anti-federalist argued about whether or not the Bill of Rights should be added in the Constitution. Bill of Rights contains the ten amendment in the Constitution which gives American many rights, freedom to express and protect oneself. It limits the power of the Federal and State Government against the people. Therefore, the liberty of the people is protected through the Amendment. The First Amendment is about freedom of speech and religion. It allows people to speak what they want and say what they think is right, the choice of God they want to believe in and practice that religion. Some other countries do not have the freedom for people who wants to express themselves and they were force to believe in the God that their leader wants. For example, in Vietnam, no one has a right to say anything about the government, especially anything about Ho Chi Minh who was the leader of the North Vietnam during Vietnam War, even any …show more content…

This specific amendment creates debates all over the world because of the death sentence. It raised a lot of questions but it cannot be helped if they do not specify. So with the cruel punishment rhea do not know how to measure how bad the crime is and give criminal the punishment, but then there are cases that people just can’t tolerant and need something more than just jail then the death penalty come in. Some people say it is too cruel or unjust but that is where the debates start. The criminal should pay for what they have done, if they think that the death penalty is cruel for them, they should thinking about how cruel they have hurt a human being. It’s the same thing with excessive bail in some way. The bail is determined by the criminal cost of living. So if the criminal is wealthy then the bail is a lot more compared to your average wage
