RESEARCH PAPER -Nampeyo Iris Nampeyo was a Hopi-Tewa potter whose works has still remained phenomenal till this day within the confines of art. Nampeyo was an Astonishing artist in her time, during the 1860s when she was born. I would consider her as an awesome artist because she revolutionized art, I would say. I'm her time she did pretty cool designs that I would have never imagined. Nampeyo work characterizes in very complex paintings that definitely define her.Iris Nampeyo was born in Hano Pueblo, Arizona. Nampeyo learned quickly and by early adulthood had earned a reputation as one of the finest First Mesa potters. Nampeyo education was being an eternal grandmother, she looked after for the little one while her side job was making pottery.
Throughout her career as a potter, Nampeyo faced several challenges. Most of these challenges were not too influential in the pottery the made, but some minor setbacks had her withhold some potential. For example, living in a reserve did not offer her much room for exploration of ancient designs. Since she was passionate about 15ht century designs, she travelled twice to archaeological sites to get information and some design sketches to be used in her works. Nampeyo became famous because the challenges she has overcame and just her art, she inspires people with her love for the 15th century designs.like just look at it , it's a beautiful piece of artwork. Nampeyo definetly changed some people perspectives towards art, because she definetly changed mine. She came from the bottom to the top, she lived in the poor in her childhood and figured out a way to make living, so she took after her mother and fell in love with 15th century designs, and people really loved her art
