The truth is “Black Excellence” is a myth. There is no doubt that black people can prosper. However, the ideologies are rooted in capitalism and inherently flawed. Capitalism is the economic system based on private ownership and profit maximization. It has been accepted as a way of achieving economic prosperity and success. However, this system has been constantly proven to be detrimental to minorities.
The relentless focus of capitalism on consumerism has produced a society in which material possessions are at the forefront of people's values. This obsession with consumption feeds a vicious cycle, pushing people to buy more than they need or can afford, resulting in financial insecurity for many families. The Black Revolution arose from a community that had been devastated by the negative impacts of a capitalist economic system and racist government officials. Furthermore, African Americans, who have experienced systematic discrimination in employment and education, are frequently left behind in the race for consumer goods, widening the economic gap between them and other groups.

It serves as a reminder that Black people have made significant contributions to various fields despite systemic barriers and historical injustices. When Black people are recognized and celebrated for their accomplishments, it can inspire others to follow in their footsteps and challenge the stereotypes and biases that have historically limited their opportunities. Furthermore, it can send a message to businesses and institutions that prioritizing diversity and inclusion is not only morally correct but also beneficial to their bottom line. While it is critical to recognize and celebrate Black accomplishments, it is also critical to acknowledge the systemic barriers that Black people face and work toward a more equitable and just
