Orcas are very intelligent animals that have unfortunately been taken advantage of as a form of entertainment. Orcas were not meant to be held captive in a tank, they were meant to be in the ocean, which is so much bigger than a tank at SeaWorld. Some people who disagree with keeping the orcas captive may go and protest in person by boycotting and others might enter the park and try to sabotage the shows, but something that they can do to show that they don't agree would be to just simply not go to SeaWorld. People should not give their money to a park that has no sympathy or any morals for treating these animals with no respect, because if you do go into the park to show you disagree, it doesn't really make a difference because you are giving …show more content…

These orcas feel obligated to do tricks and other things in order to not starve, the bad thing about this is that if they don't end up getting the food they can become really frustrated and get aggressive. For example, in the movie Blackfish, there was a story of this women who worked for SeaWorld as a trainer who was showing the orca to a couple of guest in the park. She happened to run out of fish, but even though she had no more fish for the orca, she still kept asking the orca for more tricks without giving it the reward. Animals and humans have feelings and getting forcefully removed from their families is something that neither of them should deal with. Due to this, Orcas suffer mentally and physically just to fill SeaWorlds pockets. The release of Blackfish Allowed people to see the truth behind SeaWorld and notice that most of the things that they say are lies. It showed heartbreaking footage of a group of orcas in the ocean and people on ships that are paid by SeaWorld to get the babies from the group and remove them from their family. You can hear the pain and hurt in the baby orcas family when they are being taken away. The person who was being interviewed was one of the guys on the boat and he said, “I can still hear the screams today.” Some baby orcas end up dying even before they get to SeaWorld so they dump them in the bottom of the ocean. Young orcas normally stay with their mothers for a long time, and for them to be taken away and put in an unfamiliar place is just cruel. Sometimes they might even be in a tank with other orcas who don't communicate the same way and that can affect them considering that, it's a frustrating thing to not communicate with others. The fact that these people can live with knowing that they have removed an animal from its natural habitat to live a depressed and unhappy life is just cruel, and should have never happened in the first
