Blackmores used to operate some international business in Asia countries. As mention before, it first entered in Singapore while the relevant policy has not launched, but it still choose a country of Asia to expand their international business. This phenomenon could prove that Blackmore had been attracted by their market potential and Asia is increasingly important for the group and is helping diversify Blackmores earnings. Furthermore, the evidence could prove that it is right and the AEC published some policies that beneficial for for gaining competitive advantages. One of the significant policies is non-tariff trade barriers to market entry. In 2015, Asian Free Trade Agreement are released and expanded to zero tariffs on almost all goods (Runckel 2015). More importantly, ASEAN already has such agreements with Australia. This is a pathway for Australian business to tap into ASEAN, and it could help Blackmores to reduce the transaction cost through transforming its international strategies for fitting with such situation. Another benefit is free flow of goods, services, investment capital and skilled labor, it is able to let international business collect goods and employees from world-wide, and utilizing the regional resources and advantages at the same time (Runckel 2015).
