Contents of this site are freely available to students and teachers of history.” () Television is a major part of American civilization. Those who adore it are often addicted to it. African Americans on television has had a relationship that is very important. It emerged in the free atmosphere for the years immediately following World War II. At this time when the first steps toward freedom were being taken by blacks. Video came up in the civil rights movement. The civil right movements were the first political grounds to recognize the importance of TV in this fight for rights. Both white and blacks watched television. During its first decade, the television industry gets around the truth to two-face the representation of African Americans.
