Blood pressure is the main component of the body that regulated the cardiovascular system. This regulation allows for a response from the body to maintain homeostasis when there are physiological changes.
During this experiment, different activities were executed in order to assess the blood pressure differences between males and females in the class. Blood pressure was evaluated by measuring the systolic and diastolic pressures with a sphygmomanometer (blood pressure cuff) and a stethoscope. In this experiment, it was hypothesized that females would have a lower blood pressure than male.
