Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury I am defense lawyer Nick Coleman. I would now like to call Bobbie Bann to the witness box for direct examination.
Q: What is your name?
A: Bobbie Bann.
Q: What do you currently do for a living?
A: Oh I was working at the local high school in Mariposa the community I live in.
Q: Why did you take this job?
A: I did not plan on becoming at first I was actually involved with the sport of curling and was pretty good if I do say so myself. Unfortunately I sustained an injury to my leg and no walk with a cane and sometimes a wheelchair because my mobility is now compromised.
Q: What was your relationship to Mrs. Fallon?

I had to live find a place that was a very low income area because I could not afford anything else.
Q: According to your affidavit you acquired a Glock 26 9mm why did you do this?
A: I was scared of the number incidences that were happening in the area so I wanted to defend myself. My neighbour Raine advised me to do so as well she has been living in the area longer than me so I felt taking her advise was a good idea.
Q: What training did you receive to properly handle the gun?
A: I went through all the steps involved in buying a gun, including the training course, the waiting period, joining a gun club and did a lot of reading about it beforehand.
Q: How did you feel on the inside about buying a gun?
A: I felt like I needed it as I have a permanent physical injury. I use a cane so fighting someone off with fist would be difficult as I don't have good balance making a gun the only practical method for self defence.
Q: How did the night of the incident unfold?
A: It was our 6th month anniversary as well my birthday she came over and that night I told her I loved her.
Q: What did you eat or drink that night?
A:We had a nice dinner and a little wine but we all felt fine.
