Jeff was on a mission. His mission was to gather information on the evasive rouge colonel that went by the name of Bonge Stoof. Bonge Stoof was a name that struck fear into many of the citizens of the thirteen colonies. He was known for being brutal with his prisoners, ravaging houses of innocent people, and killing his own country men. He and his squad of men were getting more and bolder in their attempts of taking down the thirteen colonies and had recently blown up a shipment of gunpowder. Jeff was currently deep in the Catamount forest. Almost instantly after Jeff had untangled his shirt, he heard gunfire from in front of him. It sounded close. He started to run in that direction but stopped and scolded himself. He decided to instead sneak around and not go barging forward like a wild animal. After he generalized where the camp was, he climbed a tree and took out his spy glass. He almost immediately saw Colonel Bonge Stoof because he was the one firing the gun. Luckily it turned out that he was only sighting the gun, not anything bad. Jeff took a look around and tried to find out how many people were there. He estimated that there were about thirty people there and he thought that if he called in a squad of soldiers they could finally take out Colonel Bonge Stoof. He took his carrier pigeon out of the cage on his horse and started to write a letter to Benedict Arnold.
General Benedict Arnold,
I am pleased to inform you that I have found Colonel Bonge Stoof in the middle of the Catamount Forest and I am hopeful that you could send a squad of men to help me take him out. He has about thirty men and almost enough weapons for all of them, I would estimate that they have about 26 guns. If you could spare some men, we would be winning a large battle and eliminating a very big threat to our country.
Here 's to hoping you can spare some men,
Jeff
