Freak the mighty is a book by Rodman Philbrick. It is about two boys that solve puzzles and go on adventures. Freak and Maxwell are a good team; because, freak is the brains and Maxwell is the muscle. In the book/show, they become freak the mighty. This book is a good example of why friendship is important. A way that the boys show how they work together is the way Maxwell is freaks legs. At first in the book freak pays maxwell 5 dollars to take to see the fireworks but it goes on from there. The reason maxwell carrying freak around is a big deal, because; this helps there teamwork, and their friendship build.
