Grinch
One of the most memorable books that Dr. Seuss wrote is How the Grinch stole Christmas. Even though the book was published in 1957, the book relates to how commercialized Christmas has become. It shows the children that read it, that towards the end of the book that Christmas is not just about gifts, but it is about how the whole town of Who-Ville comes together to still celebrate Christmas, even after the Grinch has taken all their gifts, decorations, and even their Christmas trees.
In a little town called Who-Ville, lived the Whos, that loved Christmas time more than any other time of the year. On top of Mount Crumpit, lived the Grinch with his one friend Max, that was a dog and he loathed Christmas and the Whos that celebrated it. He sat in his cave and listened to the Whos singing carols and celebrating Christmas. The more he had to listen, the more he hated Christmas. All the Whos believed that he hated Christmas so much was because his heart was two sizes too small, which did not help with enjoying this time of year.
