The book Night is about a twelve-year-old boy that grew up in Transylvania which is a small town. Elie studied Talmud but he wanted to learn Kabbalah. His father found out that the Nazi got control over Hungary. The Nazi’s started to evacuate the Jews out of Transylvania, and started loading them all into the cattle cars.
While reading the book Night by Elie Wiesel, one of the things I learned about was the jews living conditions. I read about Elie living them with many other jews and it stuck out to me because how could a person live like that and stay alive? Every jew that was caught was sent to a concentration camp and had a total different way of lifestyle when being held there. Another thing that stuck out while reading the book was the SS officers. The SS officers are Hitler's protective unit.
During the Holocaust about 500,000 to 750,000 people were murdered due to their religion. Elie Wiesel was one of the people who survived this tragic event and wrote Night to bring attention and to inform about how it happened. The book Night is a nonfiction book about how Elie Wiesel lived in the town of Sighet as a child and was put into a concentration camp. He was put in a concentration camp because he is Jewish and was growing up during World War 2, when Hitler ordered the extermination of all Jewish people. This book is well written and fits all of my criteria for what makes a book worth reading.
The book, Night, by Elie Wiesel is a memoir about the dreadful Holocaust in which Wiesel survived. The Wiesel family consisted of Elie, his two older sisters, Hilda and Bea, and younger sister, Tzipora, and parents. The family lived in the town of Sighet, Transylvania before they were shipped off to war but were then relocated to a ghetto at the beginning of the Holocaust. Elie met Moshe the Beadle in 1941 when he was about thirteen years old. Moshe the Beadle was a shtibl who was transported to one of the camps before some of the other Jews and was shot and pretended to be dead so that he could escape and return home to warn the other Jews about such occurrences but they would not listen to him.
In the memoir Night was written by Elie Wiesel in 1955, 10 years after the events happened. This book is about the Holocaust, there were about 4-6 million victims of the Holocaust. The Holocaust happened between the years 1933 and 1945. Elie was a survivor of the Holocaust and wrote this memoir of the tragic events that happened to him and other people. In the first three chapters of this story, Wiesel tells about the way his life was changed and he was dehumanized and left with nothing of his old life.
The book I read was Night written by Elie Wiesel this book takes place at Nazi concentration camps called Auschwitz and Buchenwald during the Holocaust. Elie Wiesel's main reason in writing Night was to show the world what he expierenced and to show what destruction mankind can do to each other. I also believe Wiesel wrote Night to prevent the horrific things that happened during the Holocaust to happen again. Another reason I think Wiesel wrote Night was to remember all the people that died at the hands of the Nazis so they can not be forgotten. When I first read Night my first thought was disbelief because I could not believe how much pain was inflicted on the Jews during the Holocaust and how Elie survived the Nazi concentration camps to

Within the book Night by Elie Wiesel and the "World War II – Prisoners of War – Stalag Luft I" which are diary entries by Lt. Robert R. Swartz explain what life was like in concentration camps and what helped them survive. The book written by Jean-Claude Favez, The Red Cross and the Holocaust, explain the little action the Red Cross took to stop the Holocaust. The Red Cross, was for the most part, what kept prisoners' hopes high, yet could have prevented the Holocaust before it was too late by simply speaking up.

The book Night is an autobiography written by a valorous holocaust survivor named Elizer (Elie) Wiesel. The book takes place during Hitler’s reign and contains what I believe to be two exceedingly heavy and key themes: terror and hate. First, let's kick off with terror. One event that is crucial to mention actually happened when Elie first arrived in Birkenau. This is when he witnesses the horrific scene of babies being burned alive.

Hitler was the leader of the Germans. Hitler would tell the Germans to kill the Jews, they attacked Jews because the Nazis considered them a race, also because they thought Jews were the cause of losing world war I. The Nazis also wanted some land so they thought that by getting rid of the Jews they would be able to keep their land.
---Rough Draft--- While we probably all know that the Holocaust was a horrible stain on the fabric of society, Elie Wiesel's book shows that the acts of the Nazi's are more horrible towards the Jews than some of us may have been led to believe. Elie originates from a town known as Sighet located in what was previously known as Transylvania. Though Sighet was not part of Germany or Hungary, they were still abused by the SS soldiers, by trapping them in fenced off ghettos. They also soon transported them in a terrible cattle car ride, and treated them like slaves. But the meat of the story takes place in the concentration camp(s), where they are given minimal amounts of food and judged like dogs to see if they are worth keeping.
During World War ll, Germany, led by Adolf Hitler, created many extermination camps for Jews. These death camps had a major impact on European society, and the world. One of these death camps was the Belzec extermination camp. It was established in 1942. How the Belzec death camp was started, how it was run, and how it 's prisoners were exterminated all explain the brutal World War ll death camp of Belzec.
Sometimes nightmares come true; and they're far worse than anything you ever expected. This was true for Elie Wiesel, the author of Night. He and thousands of other innocent people were stuck in a seemingly never ending nightmare: being forced into concentration camps by Adolf Hitler. Wiesel’s novel his personal experiences trapped in some of these camps, along with his thoughts and inner turmoil about his religion. When reading his novel you get a glimpse of the holocaust from a young survivor’s point of view, with the intricate writing skill of a college professor (Wiesel 3).
Nazi Death Marches During WWII, Hitler ordered for all Jews to be taken to work camps, where they were forced to work in with little to no food. Most of the time the Jews would be making stuff for the German army such as, tools or clothing. The Jews had to have a strong spirit, or they would perish. But, towards the end of the war American troops invaded Germany, finding the work camps. Afraid of the American troops finding the work camps; Hitler ordered all work camps to be evacuated to death camps deep in Germany.
