Book Summary: The Cabin

Have you ever heard of two murders happening in a cabin and five people surviving? Well, unfortunately for Mackenzie, she's been in that situation. This week, I’ve been reading a Natasha Preston book called The Cabin, and I’m currently on page 179/317. Mackenzie and her friends are going to a weekend party in a cabin. They got there and they were having a good time, drinking and doing things. They all ended up hanging out for a while and drinking a lot and after a long, crazy, and fun night, they all headed to bed and decided to call it a night. All was good until they woke up to two of their friends dead on the floor. For example, she tried to find out who killed her two friends and ended up finding out about some secret relationships happening in the friend group. She ends up finding blood on a soda can next to the cabin in a little shed, and the blood ends up being Aaron's. However, even after she finds out some lies and secrets, she still thinks that her friends aren’t capable of killing Courtney and Josh. She is in denial of the fact that one of her friends is the killer. However, she realizes that Blake, (the person she is fond of) could be the killer because there was no forced entry into the house and she thinks she knows her friends better than she knows him. In this book, she continues to contemplate who’s the killer as she finds out more secrets everyone has been keeping from her. Following all the information she has and is looking for, she realizes that even though she hopes it’s not one of her friends, a part of her is wondering after all the secrets they kept if they could keep a huge one like this. (Preston 151). Recognizing that this is a huge mess, Mackenzie and Black continue to look and search for clues as to who the killer might
