He is sending Sugrīva with a garland to pin point him; will that garland withstand one blow? They do not stay when upanyāsam is done. Vāli’s one blow will destroy it. Will that identification last till the end? The secret is – Perumāḻ cannot kill Vāli and bestow the kingdom to Sugrīva just like that because Sugrīva has done bhāgavata apacāram.
