Participation in upper-class culture or middle-class cultural activities may be related to social class but the relationship could be illegitimate. The relationships of parental or children’s cultural capital with children’s educational procurement are generally weak and of significance. It is unlikely that such weak associations could be settled by parental SES. As it turns out the link between cultural capital and social class is weak. The relationship between teachers and cultural capital has not been studied in meticulous quantitative studies. It is wrong to assume that all teachers are blindly obedient to particular quota, hidden agendas and critical ability. Many factors could affect their performance and commitment and all these factors may or may not vary by school context. It is mincing to assume that all teachers impose the dominant cultural capital on their students unquestionably.
